AboutThis is a community for all those who work from home or would like to, whether it's as a self-employed individual (including contractors) or a home-based employee of another business. This is the place to ask if you want to know whether it's better to be an LLC or a sole proprietorship, if a particular work-at-home opportunity is reputable, or how to set prices for the goods you want to sell on Etsy or Ebay. Basically, almost anything goes!
Rules:
1. Every Friday there will be a referral post, every Saturday there will be a sales post. Both will be made by the moderator. Feel free to comment to those posts, but don't post referrals/sales at other times; this community doesn't just exist for you to make money off of the other members!
2. Be respectful to one another. If you can't say something nice... say it someplace else. Remember that other people may have other reasons for doing this, and that this community is as friendly to the ultra-liberal urban homesteader as to the Christian homeschooler.
3. At the same time, before you post anything, make sure you're willing to stand behind what you say. No deleting posts or comments. You may friends-lock posts but you may not disable or screen comments without mod approval. If you notice posts or comments being deleted, take screencaps if you can, and contact the moderator immediately.
4. Any tax or legal information shared on this community should be confirmed with the appropriate licensed professional in your area. Please take everything you hear with a grain of salt.
